CEO Founder

Stephen M Zetzer, CISSP, HCISPP is the founder and principal owner of eWranglers, LLC. Stephen founded eWranglers in January of 2000 as a firm focused on the Information Security needs of small business. Customers quickly found that secure systems were also reliable systems and the firm has grown to provide quality IT services to clients in Montana and Colorado. Our core focus on industry leading information security practices is still worked in to every client solution.

Stephen's experience includes enterprise level network infrastructure and security consulting through IBM Global Services and other firms. Stephen was a team leader on successful global projects for AT&T, Lucent Technologies, TCI (now Comcast), and JD Edwards (now Oracle) among others. Stephen also has experience providing information security training to private sector and military clients through Global Knowledge.

A graduate of the Indiana University Kelly School of Business, Stephen holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential. The CISSP is considered by many in the industry to be the highest level certification available. In the 1990's, Stephen was among the first Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers of which there are tens of thousands today.

eWranglers today is focused on providing a balance of Performance, Functionality, Risk and Costs to its clients with respect to their information technology. Our whole company is designed from the ground up to deliver predictable results at predictable costs to our clients. We believe in what we do and sell to the extent that we operate our own fully digital office with end-to-end automation. Our office runs on a hybrid cloud based and locally hosted architecture. Charley Able

Technical Team Leader

Charley Able comes to eWranglers with his wife Kaetlyn and his two sons - 4 year old Robert and 2 year old Louis.

Charley is a founding member of Reed's Ferry Research, a privately funded research group focused on developing autonomous vehicle technology. Reed's Ferry is developing an open source, Linux based core that can then be customized to operate with any type vehicle (boat, plane, submarine, car). He has also founded 2 startups, worked designing industrial equipment components, Biotech, IT, and Oil & Gas.

Charley has also been a part of several technology based startups, including Hammerhead Networks, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in June of 2002. His resume includes other companies such as Verisign, SecureWorks and Dell. Charley holds several patents from his work on the LabCD at Gamera Bioscience and has numerous certifications from his time as an IT consultant. Most recently Charley has completed the Kaseya Administrator certification. In addition to his networking and computer based skills, Able has also had experience as a design engineer. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 1997.

Charley’s extensive experience has led eWranglers to quickly come to depend on Charley. He brings with him an ability to troubleshoot almost any system. His strong understanding of systems, both IT and business processes (aka people) allow for an effective completion of tasks big and small.

When asked what one of his favorite things is about our community he states, “The fact that going to the grocery store can feel epic with the mountains and the clouds and the beautiful sunsets.


Maggie Stroder

Director Business Development

Maggie Stroder joined our staff in August 2014 as our Office Administrator. She received her B.S. in Business Administration in 1995 and comes to eWranglers with over 20 years of administrative, financial, and management experience. Maggie loves anything having to do with the outdoors, hiking, distance running, skiing, etc. Originally from Cupertino, CA, Maggie has been in Montana with her husband, two boys and two girls for 3 years.


Michael Lohman

IT Technician

Michael has been working with computers since 1977 - before DOS was an Operating System. He studied Computer Management and Information Systems with the University of Maryland (while in Europe) and Computer Programming with Montana State University in Havre. Michael is combat veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Michael has a BA in Psychology from Montana State University Billings, an MA in Human Services/Mental Health Administration from the University of the Rockies, and is currently working on an MS in Justice with Terrorism/Homeland Security specialization. He intends to get an MS in Cybersecurity once he completes his current degree.

While in Germany Michael made in-home repairs to computers for the military deployed overseas, the German public, and other European nationals as well. Michael most recently worked as an Information Technology technician for the Belgrade School District and worked for the US Department of Defense as a Network/End Client troubleshooter during the US military drawdown in Europe.

Michael is fluent in English, German, school trained in three other languages, enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, staying abreast to changes in the industry, and studying. He likes reading, watching MeTV, and traveling. Last count Michael has been to over 20 different countries.
